Why I Love Being Your Father Figure
I call it that on purpose, father figure, because it's just true. It's the most accurate word I've got for what I actually want to be to you, and I'd rather say it outright than tiptoe around it with something softer.
Not (Just) Age Play
For some people that word means age play and ABDL, and I genuinely love that side of it, being someone's Daddy in exactly that sense, is something I would love to be with someone who wants that. It's just not what makes me want this. It's not necessary for me in a relationship at all. Take it away entirely and I still want the exact same thing underneath without the age play aspect tied to it: to be the one who decides for you, takes care of you physically, and holds what you can't carry on your own.
Deciding So You Don't Have To
I've already written about wanting someone who doesn't want to make decisions anymore. This is the other half of that. I don't just tolerate deciding for you, it's a big part of what draws me to this. Your clothes, your meals, how your day gets shaped, I'd genuinely rather carry that than hand it back for you to worry over.
My Hands in Your Hair
Some of it is just physical. Running you a bath and washing you myself. Sitting behind you, brushing your hair out until it's smooth, no reason to hurry through it. I like doing it the same way every time, over and over, until it's just part of how we live.
Carrying What You Can't Carry Alone
This is the part that matters most to me, even if it's the least visible from the outside. I want you bringing me your worst nights, the thoughts you've never said out loud, the trauma you've been quietly managing because nobody ever made it feel safe to hand over. It won't get fixed in one conversation. I'll sit with it as long as it takes, and I'll bring it up again myself if I think you're still carrying it. I've written before about how much I value you telling me the bad thoughts instead of sitting on them, and this is exactly why. I can't carry what I don't know you're holding.
Teaching You Things
A father figure teaches, not just decides. I want to be the one who walks you through a problem instead of just handing you the answer, who shows you how to actually do something rather than just doing it for you. Pushing you toward goals you don't quite believe you can hit yet, and being there when you hit them anyway, that's its own kind of care to me, separate from the decisions and the physical part of it.
Why I Want This
I'm not doing any of this because it comes with the rest of the dynamic. Deciding for you, tending to you, being the one you hand your worst nights to, this is the part I actually want, more than most of the rest of it.
