Can a Slave Have Limits?

Yes. Straightforwardly yes, and if anyone's telling you otherwise, they don't understand this dynamic.

You're Allowed to Be Human

Being scared of something, carrying trauma, or just plain disliking a thing, none of that disqualifies you from being a slave. Wanting to submit doesn't erase the rest of what makes you human. Limits are part of that, not a flaw hiding underneath it.

Consent Comes First, Always

I've written before about what I am as a Master, including never doing something you haven't fully consented to, and never causing or worsening trauma. That's not negotiable. It doesn't bend just because a particular limit has me curious.

What I Do Expect From You

Consent doesn't mean you're never asked to look at something. I want you willing to explore your limits with me. That starts with one question, not a checklist: do we even want to touch this at all? Some limits I have zero interest in pushing, and when that's the case, I leave them alone. The ones I am curious about, we usually find a way through. Not always. Usually.

Untangling It, Piece by Piece

Wanting to work through something doesn't mean doing it tomorrow. Mostly it means talking. What the limit does to you, what's underneath the fear, what trauma might still be sitting there unaddressed. Then we go slowly, pulling it apart piece by piece, until it stops being a wall and just becomes something you can stand in front of without flinching.

Only When You're Ready, Not When You Say So

Even once we get there, I want to see it in you, not just hear you say it. If I catch even a flicker of doubt, we wait. As long as it takes.

If you've been told your limits make you unfit to submit, I'd like to hear from you. Reach out through the Join the Family page.
